# Steltic — Privacy Policy

Steltic ("the Service", "we") is operated by Steltic. This policy explains what we do — and don't do — with your
data when you use **Steltic — your structural design assistant**.

## Your AI provider and key
Steltic has no AI model of its own. When you run a design, Steltic's server calls the AI / LLM provider you
configure in Settings, authenticated with the API key you supply. **Your key is held in server memory only for the
duration of your session and is never written to disk;** it is discarded when the session's server process ends.

## Your prompts, the AI's responses, and your designs
To run a design, Steltic's server sends your prompt to your chosen provider and receives its response, and it saves
your conversation and design files to a workspace isolated to your account so you can pause, resume, and download
your work. **We do not use this content to train any model, and we do not share or sell it.** We do not retain it
for any purpose beyond running your session — on the current hosting this workspace runs on **ephemeral storage that
is not backed up and is cleared automatically** as server instances recycle.

## What we collect
Limited account information (such as your username and a hashed password) and anonymised usage and performance data
(such as run counts, timings, and error rates), used solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

## What we don't do
We never sell your information, and we don't serve ads. We don't share your prompts, the AI's responses, or your
designs with anyone — **except the AI provider you yourself choose**, which receives your prompts in order to
generate the Outputs and processes them under its own terms.

## Third-party AI providers
Because the AI runs on a provider you select and supply, your prompts and content are subject to **that provider's
privacy terms** — please review them. Steltic is not responsible for how your chosen provider handles your data.
